Plumbing the swimming pool plant room

During the hours it will take for the pool to fill, it’s a good opportunity to plumb the various items of equipment in the plant room, including the pump and filter, and any heating system that you may have chosen. The pump and underwater lights will also be wired to a suitable control panel. NB: Any work involving electrics, gas, or oil must be undertaken and signed off by professionals qualified in these disciplines and to governing standards and regulations. These are NOT jobs to be undertaken by DIYers! When the solvent welded joints in the plant room plumbing have cured and hardened, you can also commission the sand filter by adding the sand, following the manufacturer’s directions very carefully.
