Swimming Pool Kits

We don't just send you a pile of boxes and leave you to get on with it! The manual and DVD we provide tells you everything you need to know to build your DIY pool but there is always help and support available from our office where we have staff available with many years practical experience of building and maintaining pools.

Heating your pool...
In these energy conscious times it's important to ensure you heat your pool in the most efficient way possible but also ensure the heating method used suits the way you want to use your pool. We can supply oil fired pool heaters, gas fired heaters, electric heaters and heat pumps. For indoor projects we also specify and supply systems to undertake not only pool water heating but air handling and dehumidification.

When planning your pool and its heating it is important to ensure you choose the correct pool cover and at Summit Leisure we can advise the best product for your needs. As well as solar and heat retention covers we supply winter covers and safety covers. Our safety covers range from manual to automatic. We also offer a wide range of pool cover reels - manual or electric.

Liners..
The Summit DIY Pool Kits are supplied with a blue liner and tile band. There are a multitude of colours, patterns and liner thicknesses to offer. Details and samples are available from our office.

On site lining...
This is an extremely tough material 1.50mm thick reinforced membrane, tailor made on site and welded together with 50mm overlap. Traditionally it has been used to refurbish large concrete pools but we are finding it an increasingly useful system to use for new domestic applications where perhaps an unusual shape is preferred or the pool use is commercial or semi commercial or, it is to be heated to a high temperature.

The life expectancy on the on site lining is in excess of 15 years. If you have an old pool that has had some ground movement in the shell over the years this lining is not effected by minor movement within the pool structure so could be the ideal choice. It's also a relatively fast installation and even old step units can be covered to match the shell of the pool. If you are interested in this type of system all we would require from you is a simple plan of your proposed or existing pool and we can provide you with a quotation.

If you are planning an indoor pool you may also be considering a hot tub/spa, sauna or steam room, so as well as helping you with your pool layout, Summit can also supply these other items as part of your package and very popular at the moment is the counter current unit to swim against. Most exercise pools tend to be smaller but if you wanted a larger family pool but with the counter current unit to swim against for exercise we can quote for this additional item.

Whether you are considering an outdoor pool, indoor pool or a pool in an Algarve Retractable Enclosure, the rubberised flooring system we offer is an ideal solution. Not only providing a clean, level and totally seamless base, comfy to the feet but it is also non-slip and unlike paving where water lays in puddles this surface allows excess water to drain away.
