Bespoke Pool Enclosure installation in Yorkshire

This large project in Yorkshire was to convert an existing barn, construct a new pool and finally have one of Summit Leisure’s Retractable Algarve Pool Enclosures installed over the top.

Mr & Mrs B used a local company to build their swimming pool and a local building company to convert the old barn into a usable space. Summit Leisure were asked to design a bespoke enclosure and install the enclosure on completion of the pool and conversion. A bespoke Algarve retractable pool enclosure was chosen and the pool enclosure was designed to butt up against the existing old barn. The barn was converted and the plan was to house all the plant room equipment, a changing area and kitchen in the adjoining barn. Being able to walk from the barn into the pool, gave the customers more indoor space for friends and family when enjoying the swimming pool.

The clear open feel of the glass enclosure was the best option in order to view the beautiful surrounding Yorkshire countryside and because of the open fields adjacent to the property the glass enclosure was not only to give a sheltered room around the pool but also allow a totally panoramic outlook of the landscaped gardens.

The bespoke enclosure was a retractable design allowing them to enjoy an open air pool during the summer months and a totally indoor pool area when the weather wasn't go good. A dark brown aluminium frame was used on the pool enclosures main structure so it blended in against the existing barn conversion. The barn window frames installed were also dark brown which complimented the whole design.
