Summit Leisure D.I.Y swimming pool kits. What’s involved, and is it for you?
A Summit Leisure self-build swimming pool kit is a great solution to having your own in-ground swimming pool at home but at a fraction of the cost. However, you need to consider carefully what’s involved before undertaking such a project, and careful planning is required.
At the heart of the build are pool walls constructed from 9″ solid concrete blocks laid on the flat. If you’re not a skilled bricklayer, you will certainly need to bring in someone who is to do this for you. Similarly, you’ll also require the skills of a good plasterer/renderer, and perhaps a plumber for the pipework? All work involving electric, gas and oil must be undertaken by a qualified professional, so you have no choice in respect of those disciplines unless of course, you are such a qualified person! And fitting the liner is a specialist skill which many DIYers can find daunting, but we have a solution to that for you too!
